Ben Lee, full- time volunteer organizer, from the Eastern Farm Workers Association will be speaking on their organizing drives that seek to alleviate their members’ most important problem – poverty – at its root. There will be also be some great singing and stories from other volunteers about their group efforts with migrant and seasonal farm workers, temporary and service workers in the CNY area. This is a great chance to hear some of their programs on the weekend before their Tamale Benefit Drive held at First UU!
