April 7, 2016 marks 50 years that Nancy and Jerry Clausen have been members at First UU.  And how wonderful that they chose to be with us.  Rev. Reamon, who was the pastor here when we moved to our present building and was present at the vote to bring together Universalists and Unitarians, signed their membership certificate.  They have seen pastors come and go, they have seen children grow up and leave and return.  They have held every kind of leadership position there is.  Nancy has sung in the choir for those fifty years.  And presently Jerry is often seen in the kitchen making coffee for our coffee hour.  So it was only fitting that we celebrated with cake at coffee hour.  Thank you Jerry and Nancy for everything that you are and do!!
